Some of our most valuable time is spent in the kitchen, wondering what are we going to make for supper, with kids begging to eat. I am going to apologize now, because I cannot fix that… But what I can do, is help you organize your kitchen and make it more usable. This will help free up your valuable time. After you are done here, go on over and look at some more ideas for your kitchen.
First on the list, is using a paper towel holder under the sink for your trash bags. Depending on how many trash bags you use at a time, would determine which type of paper towel holder would work best for you. What I am talking about is the sturdiness. This makes get a trash bag so easy when you are in a hurry!
This one I am showing is actually made out of a curtain rod holder and a dowel rod. But you can get the idea I am talking about by looking at it.
The next idea I would love to share with you, really saved me some space where I put my pots and pans. This is an easy fix for small cabinet that needs to hold a large amount of pots and pans.
Using an expandable sink shelf, will help declutter the counter space behind your sink area. This new shelf will give you additional space for your dish soap, and a soap dish makes perfect use for a sponge rest area.
Using sink caddies inside a cabinet door is another way to save space in your kitchen. You can purchase these little sink caddies at your local dollar store or the larger hardware stores usually have them also. This is a great place to store packets of seasonings, or koolaid.
This last idea is one that I absolutely love! These magazine boxes are perfect for many organizing needs. Anytime I find these on sale I buy as many as possible. They work perfect in any room of your house depending on your needs. The way I am using it today is in the kitchen to store long boxed items: Cling wrap, parchment paper, aluminum foil, etc…
Make sure you stay tuned for more hacks to come!
